Green Sea Turtle is a drawing that I did for my mother as a Christmas present.  She likes sea turtles.  Since I wasn’t that familiar with sea turtles I had to do some research and gather some reference photos before I started.

Years ago I took a trip to Hawaii and saw some sea turtles swimming in the ocean.  I was amazed at how large they are.  They are beautiful animals.

The original drawing is done in graphite pencils on 2-ply Bristol vellum.
